Amaroo

Our sweet little Amaroo is now at the Capital of Texas Zoo on breeding loan.

Amaroo is the second joey to arrive here at CLAWS.  His parents are also Billywig and Whizbee.  Unlike his sister, we are going to hand raise Amaroo.  We left him with mom until he was too big for her pouch (as you can see below) and then we brought him in with us.  We are in constant contact with many people who are highly experienced with these guys, to be sure we do everything right for him.  He's turning out to be VERY personable!!! See what I mean by "not able to fit"? And now we see a tail First evening out of mom's pouch and in the house with Kasha Isn't he just adorable? Here he is in his pouch that he got from PeeWee's Pampered Pet Products. It's perfect for a little bettong joey Just a bit of a thing! Nothing like sitting in my pouch and drinking my bottle Time to climb the human mountain and meet the dog Yeah, this daddy guy is OK And this pouch is GREAT 9/14/05 I'm getting out on my own some now 9/14/05 Ok, you have fur, you MUST have a pouch in there 1/15/05 I can hold my own bottle, thank you! 9/15/05 I wanna go play with the dog things 9/16/05 Look how tall I am 9/17/05 Mommy is harness training me 9/17/05 I don't mind it at all, it lets me walk around on the floor! 10/06/05 298 Grams 10/24/05 Now I sleep in Mommy and Daddy's bed, they just move the covers to feed me.
